French furniture – In or Out?

Thursday, May 27th, 2010

As you know at Homes Direct 365 we love French furniture: it’s unique, stylish, elegant and embodies the European culture that we’re known around the world for. But that’s us. We’d love to know what you think?

French bedroom furniture can bring an elegance and a romantic touch to your ‘boudoir’ (AKA French boudoir!) then we think there’s nothing better than a luxurious French bed, surrounded by matching French furniture, all hand crafted and distinguished…

But then again, we are not you! Tell us what you think, we’d love to know!

Table and Chair

Table and Chair

Now we’re well into May the sun is making regular appearances and actually warming up our lovely gardens! There’s nothing more I like to do on a summers day than grab a good book, put on my sunglasses and sit out in the garden! Either that, or get the barbeque out, invite some friends over and let the good times roll!

The most important part of enjoying your garden is getting the furniture right! But there’s so much to choose from! Do you want to go for a stylish bench to sit under your favourite tree? Or do you want to create a mini park in your own back garden with a picnic style bench?

If you’re looking for something a little more delicate, or wanting to add a French style to your garden, why not look at some of our elegant chairs? To be fair, at Homes Direct we have a great range of all garden furniture, so you should really have a look online and see what we have for your garden!

New Government! Hello Mr Cameron

Wednesday, May 12th, 2010

Well, its the end of an era! 13 years worth! So its good-bye Labour, and hello Conservative party! It doesn’t matter what side of the fence you sit on, this election will go down in history as one of the most controversial of recent times! Whether you follow politics or not, you will have found it hard to hear anything but in the last week, and I’m sure there’s plenty more to come in the coming weeks!

David Cameron

David Cameron

I wonder if Mr Cameron, our new Prime Minister as confirmed by Her Majesty herself, is a fan of French furniture? If he will choose to furnish the famous no. 10 Downing Street with classic furniture collections in-keeping with the long, traditional history associated with the property, or try to bring it into the 21st Century (as all politicians seem to claim in their policies!).

We’d love to hear what your stance is on the election, who’s in power, or simply how you think David Cameron will decorate number 10!
